Searches out the roots of the current catastrophic state of the Black Family in general and black youth in particular and recommends steps we can take to restore the black family and rescue our young people. He traces the problem to the 1970's when many members of the Civil Rights/Black Power Generation morphed into the "Me Generation" In their unthoughtful, uncritical rush for integration many of them abandoned the highest standards of traditional black Christian child-rearing statndards and began imitating white parents. They forgot that the rule for successfully bring up black children is that our children have to be "twice as good to get half as far."
